Pride

We bought the Grande Dame of our breeding farm in 1991 from the stud Grönwohldhof.

Pride’s father Rubinstein was not only a champion in sports but as a breeding stallion as well. His 40 Grand Prix victories and his 92 licensed sons is impressive proof of his prowess.

Pride’s maternal grandfather, Pik Bube archived eleven victories from twelve starts in advanced level. He sired 14 licensed sons and was for years esteemed as a top dressage stallion known also for show jumping.

Pride´s first foal, Don Rubin, became Polish junior champion in dressage riding. Her son Beau Geste out of Weltmeyr, owned by Regina Moldan, became Belgian vice-champion of the category “four-year-old dressage horses” and is now successful in Prix St. Georges. Also noteworthy is Lascara out of Londonderry, owned by Diane Creech (Olympic team member in Canada). After Lascara’s victories at the mare show and the mare performance test she was elected to the best mare of East-Canada.

The two Hanoverian State Premium Mares Solaia and Schneewittchen are the result of the pairing with the top sire Sandro Hit.

In addition to extraordinary gaits Pride passes on an even-tempered character and superb rideability to her progeny.
